Gabriel "Sylar" Gray. Surprisingly enough, he prefers to go by his nickname. He doesn't know where it stemmed from, but most people refer to him by that. However, he doesn't pressure anyone to use it, and most don't even know about his nickname. FANDOM Heroes AGE 26. PB Zachary Quinto SUPPLANT Friends with Cymoril Avalon, Engaged to Nyota Berry JOB Licensed Coroner/Mortician, runs Harmony Funeral Home. Also has a part-time side business as a repairman for anything that needs fixing. SEXUAL ORIENTATION Gabriel doesn't seem to care much for sex in general, but generally when push comes to shove, he's heterosexual. He also has the most absurd taste for blondes... APPEARANCE Gabriel has dark hair, brown eyes, and a light skintone. He is actually quite handsome, with chiseled, attractive features and a good looking face. However, he tends to hide behind oversized glasses, keep his eyes down, and generally gives of an air of unease that is distracting. When he takes of his glasses and pays you full attention, people have said his gaze can be quite frightening. Like he's taking you apart in his head, and imagining how the pieces would fit together. He has very expressive eyebrows, and has a tendency to carry a lot of expression in his forehead. As for height, he's decently tall, at 6'2. He hunches sometimes, which makes him seem less imposing, but when he stands up straight and looks down at you, it's perfectly normal to be a little frightened. In fact, he may want you to be. |

IN-GAME HISTORY Gabriel didn't have a particularly notable past. He was born to loving parents, though for some reason, he feels notable disconnect from them. They both care about him, and he knows it. He loves his father, but has always carried a certain discomfort around him. He is much closer to his mother, who he always strives to work hard for and impress. When he was younger, he did not have many friends. He was never upset about it, either. He got along with people when he needed to. During high school, he was a strange mix of intellectual and athlete. He was a great student, and always at the top of his class. He participated in the chess club and even competed professionally for a short while, before issues with losing began to give him an undesired reputation. He also competed in track and wrestling, and displayed an amazing amount of physical prowess. He graduated near the top of his class, and moved on to college. His mother dreamed of him growing up to be a doctor, and he never had a real issue with blood or gore. Unfortunately, when it came time for him to intern at a hospital, he couldn't find any openings. As it was, he decided to cut his losses after six months of searching, and instead finished training to be a coroner. He has run his own repair business since high school, and now runs the local funeral home. Occasionally, he will preform autopsies, but usually, his work involves arranging funerals. Not interesting work, perhaps, but he lives comfortably and is mostly happy. Gabriel currently lives in a townhouse on a higher-end suburb. He has a cat named Elle. One of Gabriel's best friends is Cymoril Avalon. They met through family friends, and have grown quite close through the years because of similar interests and philosophies on life. Gabriel tends to be protective of Cymoril, and he highly values her opinions. He talks to her frequently and spends plenty of his spare time with her. Gabriel has also been engaged for about a year. He met Nyota about two years prior, when they bumped into each other in a bookstore, both wanting to buy the last copy of the same book. Gabriel, being a gentleman, let her have the copy, but only if she agreed to let him read it when she finished. They have kindled a great relationship because of that fateful book, and he owns a copy of it in remembrance. They have been dating for about three years, and he proposed last year. He can't be found without a ring on his finger, though it will be replaced when the couple finally marries. Gabriel is perfectly happy with his relationship, however, his mother wishes that his bride were a touch more traditional. However, the two families both get along well, and Gabriel's parents often go out with Nyota's, as they try to learn more about each other. There is a joke that the parents go on 'dates' more than Gabriel and Nyota do at this point. However, Gabriel spends plenty of time with Nyota, and at least 5 nights out of the week, the couple spend together. |
