I have not been feeling myself as of late. I suppose that it would account for why I haven't been as present on these boards. I'd rather not publicly discuss why. And rather unfortunately, I am still not quite feeling ... hn. Myself, I suppose.

It is a very disconcerting feeling, to not feel yourself. Have any of you ever felt that way...?

I hope that everyone is faring better than I am. And on that note, I think I need to get a drink.

...Shizuka, if you will still have me, perhaps I will pay you a visit at work? But I will pay for myself, I don't need free drinks. I wouldn't want to be an unnecessary burden.

I bought an antique grandfather clock to try and keep myself occupied. It was quite old and badly broken, but I am almost disappointed how quickly I managed to fix it. Now I am trying -- and failing -- to find a place in the funeral home for it. I have far too many clocks at my townhouse, two of which are grandfather clocks. And this one is a nice clock, to be sure, but the others are worth considerably more. Hmmm. Does anyone have any interest in a newly repaired grandfather clock?

It is very unfortunate how slow business has been. I have far too much time to myself, and right now that is something that I would rather avoid. I am thinking of going to an antique store and seeing if there are some pocket watches that need repair... Though I would have to resell them upon completion, I already have far too many pocketwatches.

If someone has something in need of repair? I would be more than willing to offer my services, fee of charge. I really am serious. Anything with mechanical parts, I can fix it. And usually quite quickly.

Cym, I hope you have been doing well. I apologize for my recent silence. I am just not ... As focused as I usually am. You know that if you ever need me, no matter how distracted I happen to be, I will always clear time for you. But, I'm sure you can easily get your fiance to do such things for you.

Jennifer, those roses you gave me are still alive. I must admit that I am proud of the accomplishment, because I do not really have what you would call a green thumb. Shizuka tells me that I water it too much and that I will soon prune it within an inch of its life but it is not dead and that has to mean something. They are perhaps not as beautiful as they were when you brought them, but that might be asking too much of my limited floral experience.

Perhaps I'll bring a few watches or something over. Anything to help a friend. ... And besides, you sound like you seem to need something to distract you, and company always does the trick.

Not like I have anything to talk about at all (which is subtle sarcasm. I do, in fact, have things to discuss).

I hope you feel better soon, Gabriel, though you're not the only one to share the not-quite-right feeling.

I would appreciate it, if you have anything in need of repair. I am usually quite quick, especially with pocketwatches.

I am never what one would call a good conversationalist, but I don't doubt that I am even worse than usual. I would make the attempt, anyway.

It is not a feeling I would wish on anyone.

My specialty is computers, to tell the truth. I'm not too good at fixing much else.

Ah well, even as a distraction some conversation- awkward as it is- is usually good...

I don't blame you.

It's a strange talent of mine. If I have all the parts and can take it completely apart, I have never failed to fix something, unless I'm particularly distracted.

I suppose. Though, I know that I haven't been very talkative lately, either. Perhaps this is part of my problem.

I've been told that I am. I am not exactly sure as to why, but I am sure there are very good reasons... I suppose my glasses. Or... My lacking coversational skills.

I, uhm- I'm glad to hear that! Roses do need a lot of water- maybe you could add some fertilizer, too...?

Uhm- well... the cash-register of the shop gets stuck someone, but I'm not sure if it's something that can get fixed, because it's really old.

...Fertilizer. I really ought to have thought of that. I wonder how much one would use for a plant of such size. Do they have specialized fertilizer for roses? Can you really prune something to death? ... I apologize for all the questions.

Well, if you would like, I would take a look at it for you. Perhaps it just needs to be oiled, or some gears replaced. No matter how old something is, it can always be fixed. It's just a question of if it is worth the time investment to do so.

For a plant it's size... maybe a fist or so every two weeks? And- yes they do. ...Uhm- no, you can't, unless you cut off all the leaves and don't water it enough, I think...

I... I guess? It's really old, but we've had it ever since the flowershop opened, so...

Hmm. Your fist, or mine? Your hands are considerably smaller than mine. ...Interesting. I wonder if they will have such fertilizer at a hardware store. Well, I haven't cut off all the leaves, I just try and take of those that have discoloration. I am told that is not what I am supposed to do.

At the very least, I could make it work a little better. It might not be as good as new, but I would make the attempt.

I think yours will be alright- it won't be a big difference. ...I'm sure they do. Uhm, don't worry too much about that. It is very hard to kill a rose with too much pruning.

...Okay!
