I've been having issues with Elle recently. She seems to have spent all of her time sleeping for the past couple of days. I'm not sure why she is so exhausted, considering how little she has been moving. I know that if you sleep too much, you will only exhaust yourself (this is not just speculation, but a proven fact).

I am working to play with her a little more to keep her from becoming catatonic. She seems to enjoy a strange looking ring with a ball inside of it. She could probably dedicate hours to trying to fish the thing out. I wonder if it is possible for her to actually get it out.

...hmm. I wonder if this sudden laziness stems from when I gave her catnip. She was wired for hours... but could she still be catching up on sleep?

What a troubling idea.

I am not exactly sure what to think.

...perhaps I am reading too much into the girl's behavior. Of all people for her to .. 'crush' on. She hardly knows me, to start. And I believe I'm six years older than she is.

During our visit, I assumed she was feeling unwell, but the more I consider it, the more I am sure that she was suffering from some sort of romantic disillusion. Which is almost as strange.

Could she possibly be suffering from something similar to whatever I had a few months ago? Obviously, she wasn't jumping everything that moved, but...

Perhaps I should speak to her about it?

Hmm.

Perhaps I need to consult someone who knows more about this than I do.

...but I don't know who would qualify.

I have a problem.

I think a girl has ... a 'crush' on me.

But I'm not sure.

I suppose this entry was not terribly interesting... I'm quickly finding out that I'm a fairly boring person. Perhaps I need to mix it up a little more. Get out more. Socialize more. All of the above.

I think I'm going to go on a walk tonight. All the snow has melted away -- it seems like Spring is finally here. It's hardly even cold out.

<3!!! Ohmygosh, she's adorable! This makes me regret not getting a kitty! ...Of course Fido is the cutest dog ever, but still.

Well, I believe cats love sleeping. Especially if it's finally sunny!

And you're not boring! You provided a picture of an adorable half-asleep kitty! Oh, and if you want socializing, I'm totally free! :3

(Ahaha, poor Jennifer XD Her crush is SO one sided)

She is a cute creature. Unfortunately, she's well aware of the fact and uses it to her advantage.

I had heard that... I'm just not used to it, because she's usually quite active. As long as she is healthy, I suppose I needn't worry.

She looks rather annoyed in that picture ... probably because I disrupted her sleep with the flash of the camera. Thanks for the offer. What kind of 'socializing' would you be up for? I'm not good at this sort of thing...

[He's actually quite worried about her, which I think is cute. So unlike himself. <3]

But we forgive her for being so cute! And well, as long as she eats normally, everything is okay, I think!

She does? I think she just looks sleepy, but you know her better. And, uhm... I don't think you're the type who likes going shopping XD Maybe just going for a coffee or something? What do you like to do? :3

[I'm thinking about whether I should let her keep her crush or get over it XD What do you think? <3 Watching Sylar getting all confused is fun, but the stress might end up being too much for Jennifer! XD]

She seems to eat quite well, so I'm not worried about that. ...I don't think I have to be, anyway...

I'm not a big fan of it, no, but I suppose it depends on the venue.

[I'm fine her continuing the crush, as long as it does not cause the poor girl's head to explode! But it's totally your choice. <3]

I don't think there's nothing to worry about then!

The venue? Well, you say that, but I doubt you would like to come with me shopping for clothes, and I don't think me coming with you, shopping for... I don't know, something you use in your job? -would be too fun, either.

Oh, and you didn't answer my question! What do you like to do? Asides from fixing stuff :3 There must be places you like to go sometimes!

Yes. She's quite healthy, I'm sure of it.

...Well, I usually spend my time at home. From time to time I go to the library.

Can't say I know much about cats, but I'd think a catnip hangover makes sense.

That's what I'm leaning towards... but this is quite the 'hangover', considering how long it has lasted.

Perhaps now that she is getting older, she is getting ... I don't know, mellow-er?

Pups are like that. They calm down when they get to about six months.

I've never had a dog, but I would assume it makes a fair amount of sense for the ideas to be inter-relateable.

That means she's finally growing up. She's very small yet, and I worry that she's not healthy. My vet assures me that she is, however, just smaller than most cats.

I'm a little like that with Cain. No matter what the vet does to assure me of how healthy he is, I'm always worried.

I think that is only proof that we care.

...though Elle is not a big fan of the vet. Perhaps she would not agree with me.

It is. And I don't know about Elle, but Cain had a rough life before he came to live with me, so I'm overprotective.

Perhaps you'll have to bring her to work one of those days or I might forget what she looks like.

[Private to Shizuka]

I'm really not sure. It's strange, really. I don't know her very well.

But it seemed fairly classic. Flushing, fast heartbeat, shallow breathing? She couldn't really speak to me properly, either...

What bothers me is that she hasn't acted like this before.

...I hope I don't sound egotistical. I'm not trying to be.

You think so? That is good to hear, because she is quite small yet, and she's nearing on a year old.

I was told that she was likely to be a small cat when I bought her from the breeder, but she is hardly bigger than a kitten.

Well I'm no vet, but if cats are anything like people (I happen to think they are) they go through phases. Maybe her body just has her tuckered out for the time being.

If it lasts for too long though, you should probably take her to the vet.

[info]ticktocktick

I suppose that could be true. She does seem to think she's a human most of the time, I suppose phases would come with that as well.

I will. I take her there often, because she's not as hearty as my last cat and I worry that she's not well. She's always been perfectly healthy, so I suppose I might just be making it up.
